Today we are bombarded with chemicals from the industries that dump into our water supplies, to the pesticides used in and around the home, to the petroleum ingredients in our personal care products. Toxins can affect us in many ways from headaches, to nausea, to critical illness. The toxins can accumulate very slowly such as in mold in the home which can result in allergies and other disorders or they can accumulate very quickly as is the case with pets being exposed to lawns and gardens treated with chemicals.
Instead of killing bugs and pests, we can repel them with essential oils (some will kill them unfortunately). You can purchase a glass spray bottle and fill it with pure water and add a few drops of essential oil to spray around the home, your pets, your car, etc. (I recommend 10 drops to 2 oz water.)
